Sue Pratt member from 1995 – Present : LIFE MEMBER 2016

Sue began her time with the Cats, right from day 1. She played an invaluable role as Secretary in the first three years of our amalgamation. Throughout the years she has continued to be a part of the committee, coach and is a quality regular umpire for our club. It has been a pleasure to share the organising committee for our 21st with Sue, as it is easy to see the impact that the club has had on her when she reflected on memories of playing day, but also the days spent to build this club. I will always remember Sue as the player who wore a skivvy when it was cold, and she just didn’t’ give a shit. Practical, down to earth and still continues to work for The Cats taking on the Merchandise Coordinator this year. Her other roles have included:

· Secretary for 3 years

· Club reporter

· Coaching roles across J3, J4 and 15U

· Junior Delegate for 2 years

· Committee member across 9 years

· Country Champs Delegate

· Public Officer for the last 5 years – and if anyone tries to take this off her, good luck to them!

· Umpire Development Program

· A regular, quality umpire who players value greatly

· As well as a valued member of the defence line over the years, playing ____ games

It is a great honour, to thank and present Sue as a Life Member of the Blyth Snowtown Netball Club, in recognition of her contributions over the last 21 years.

Simone Bigg member from 1998 – Present : LIFE MEMBER 2016

Since the day I became involved in this club, I don’t think I have seen much go down that Simone is not involved in in some shape or form. And I can say that, because she is genuinely one the kindest, most chilled out people that I know, and will continue to do do do for those that ask or need. Simone has shown a genuine interest in the forward planning of our club, she has invested a lot of time in the structure and depth of our juniors throughout the years and is a truly valued voice on the netball court – and a trusty old hip action that we are trying to breed in to the younger girls. She has a lot of years left in her for this club, and I don’t see her burning out as she is patient, calm and has a genuine passion to see this club continue to grow and develop in to the future. Her duties for the club include:

· Committee member 11years

· Treasurer for 2 years

· Coach for 10 years, C1 A1 Net Set Go x 2 J5 J4 J3 J4 (2012 ) J1 J2 (2013) J2 J1

· Secretary 4 years

· Other coordinator roles: Net Set Go, uniforms, website, junior coordinator, responsible for managing scoring set up pack up roster, Child Safety Officer

· Country Champs and Academy Coordinator and delegate for three years

· Junior Development officer

· NENA Association Secretary

· NENA Country Champs Coordinator

· As well as a valued member of the defence line over the years, playing ____ games

It is a great honour, to thanks and present Simone as a Life Member of the Blyth Snowtown Netball Club, in recognition of her contributions over the last 18 years.

Bernadette Altmann member from 2004 – Present : LIFE MEMB 2016

Passion. Commitment. Determination. Expertise.

These would be only a few words that describe Bernie’s relationship with netball. Not only is it within her blood, but being part of the history of The Cats also runs through her. She is incredibly passionate about this club, which has been hugely influenced by her legendary parents, Pat and the late John Keech. Bernie is always a wise voice on the committee, a well-informed support to coaches and an invaluable mentor to those who approach her for advice … or she just gives it too! She has played an amazing ________ number of games for the club, and she just can’t help but be involved. And so she should. She has been an amazing asset to the Cats, and has many years left in her to give with so much devotion to the club.
